Default b18C with N1 pulley

Hey guys, anything at all related to the CTR N1 race puley would be helpful. I installed it to replace the UR underdrive pulley mainly because I did not like underdriving ym alternator. I have no A/C or P/S in my 97 hatchback and this N1 installed now. Anything with blancing or bearing wear problems? Only REAL smart guy post a reply please...no hearsay or flaming...peace!

setup: JDM B18C with 20K (+/-) on it, AEM Hybrid cold air intake, Nology hotwires and external coil cap and coil, OBX 4-2-1 header, Magnaflow 2 1/4" catback with B pipe.

To date, there has been no direct, conclusive evidence that such pulleys cause any engine damage. Some people will argue that they do, many others use them and experience no issues whatsoever. Take from this what you will.

While Padawan is correct and the pulley probably won't do direct damage to anything, your car isn't at a point where it's going to help anything either. For safety and reliability of your accessories, I would get a stock crank pulley and call it a day.

No, 5W-30 will be fine in those temperatures.

Actually, the Honda N1 pulley is quite "bling-less", which is nice. I prefer the plain silver anodized Unorthodox pulley, since it is a bit lighter, allows for the retention of A/C, provides slight under-driving, and looks closer to a stock pulley than the bright red or blue versions.

Ok, its got about 25K miles on it...what about boost...I know 90% of what to do...but what about stock parts turboed. Can I push 6psi with just a thicker headgasket, ECU tune (OBDI) and proper FMU?

Yes, 6 psi is certainly possible on stock internals with the proper tuning.

you can reliably make 250-300whp on a bone stock b18c1 with a proper fuel system and tune. an fmu is not a proper fuel system.

if you are getting a tune fmu is not necessary anyway. anything other than a stock pulley is purely aesthetic.
