Yeah the halfshaft and driver side inner CV joint is what's different.
90-93 = female halfshaft and male CV joint (just like passenger side inner CV joint)
94-01 = male halfshaft and female inner CV joint (which IMHO is a ghey and pointless design, when they could have made the axles on both sides be exactly the same)
