Default broken valve cover bolt

well one of the smaller valve cover bolts the bottom middle on my car is broke cause my dumbass self tighted it too much so yeah....does anyone know how i would be able to get this out?...need to know asap

yeah the broken part.....inside the hole...im trying get that drilled out or something so i can get it out and put a new one in

high five!!!! I did that before too. I just got a little easy out at the hardware store and that thing came out super easy. Just be careful when you are slinging metal flakes.

unless the broken end is like 4" deep into the hole...you can get it out in the same process

i seriously doubt it is....
no valve cover hole is that deep

i said 4" becuase that is longer than any extractor bit you can buy

That thing you posted a link to....you do NOT need.
Again, read my responses in the thread that I showed you.

you want an extractor like this (do not get fooled by fancier looking ones)

a handle like this

and a drill bit that is SMALLER than the bolt that you broke
Center punch the broken bolt, drill a short hole, insert the extractor, turn it out

Dont buy some crazy tool set.....you only need ONE extractor.
