basic setup ls/vtec.. doing majority of the work myself.. Thought i would share some pics

looks idetical to mine....but i dont have the pretty oem honda pr3 i got nippon ones....gsr block and all is the same as mine lol

 

Damn, thought that was my ****, other then it being ls. I just did that to a d-series, same engine stand too Have fun.

they are RS machine pistons.. i had oem p30's but they were only a .10 over bore i needed .20

just got done with my buddys ls block....

pr3 pistons/LS rods/ARP rod bolts/ACL race bearings

should be something nice to drive on the street.....

my same setup dude got some s2s1 blox mani and dual springs crower retainers hytec production copy from f1 shot peened ls rods with arps 3 angle vj on the gsr head balanced rotating assembly all in a gsr block good luck with it and if you finish befor me lemmie know how she runs

 

i still have alot to buy

havent really been keeping track.. but id say 2-3k total after is all up and running

 

keep her going man...cylinder crosshatch looks clean as well

 

Hey Tim you still have the P30's I sold you? You weren't able to use them?

had to sell them.. they wernt big enough bore

do you have a power goal?

 

Did u hone the sleeves? correct me on this, it doesnt look right cuz no diagonal cut.

 

jdm p-30's would have yielded higher compression ratios and still will be very streetable and works good with 93 octane.

yes it was honed after it was bored

not much higher than the pistons i have.. i would of used them but the bore wasnt big enough

 

props on doing your own work, thats all that matters is making it your own.
