well...i was the forums earlier asking about my spedo problem...i juss found out today...my hatch orginal gauge cluster doesnt come wit a tach. the guy i got the car from had put in a 92-95 civic ex gauge cluster..can that be a problem why my spedo dont work? maybe a bad wiring or is it plug and play? i am thinking of buying a used gauge cluster from a junk yard..if that can be the problem. my CEL comes on but when i shut the car off it goes away...any suggestions??

 

Check your VSS, replace if necessary (most likely). The EX cluster swap is plug and play.

 

ya, i have a cx which came with no tach and i put ex gauges and they work fine so it prob is ur vss
