Default Brake rotor selection.

I need a new set of pads in rotors in the front. I have already decided which pads I am going to get, and I am debating whether or not I should get a set of Brembo slotted rotors instead of the blanks. My question is if they offer an oversized rotor that utilizes the stock caliper without having wheel clearance issues. Anybody seen anything like that?

Unless you are currently overheating your brakes or plan to, then use the blanks and that will provide the best performance.

Autozone rotors FTMFW!!!

Cheap, and they come with a warranty. I'm on my second set with no problems.

Second that!

I use $11 Autozone blanks on my fully prepped roadrace car.

Slots and/or holes don't improve performance, they reduce it and cost money.

I had brembo blanks on all 4 corners and axxis metal masters pads and I never had any brake fade at all. I even tried.

Blanks are actually the best, there are many factors as to why.

If you are looking for an OEM brake upgrade like fastbrakes does, but with all OEM parts, I'm the guy to talk to because I build Honda brake upgrades and there a LOT cheaper than fastbrakes.

Powerslot sells some 'big brake' kits that use the stock calipers. I think it turns them to a different angle or something to cover the whole rotor. I am running powerslot slotted oem size rotors on front / rear and they are pretty decent.

Every time a honda-techer doesnt search and read, 20+ ******** let him know. I searched, and just because you found something doesnt mean that I did. Thanks for answering my question.

Edit- The fastbrakes oversized require the use of an adapter kit and RL or CL-S calipers, so the answer so far is no on that one.

what adapter????
http://fastbrakes.com/shop/pro...d=722
this uses stock calipers, and it incldes everything

http://fastbrakes.com/shop/pro...d=521
wow this one uses type r calipers, bu it comes with them

"Front caliper brackets are Pre-Cut, no mods required 1994-2001 Integra" - and thats quoted from the product description. so i fail to see where you need an adapter kit or rl/cl-s calipers. you sir have just proved you can't search, even with the help of 20+ ******** and now 2 bunnies lie dead on the road cuz of you for shame...

"Pair of slotted & drilled 11.8 inch rotors with the 4x100 bolt pattern. These are the biggest factory rotors that will fit the Civic and Integra. Must use the Fastbrakes caliper adapter kit and RL or CL-S calipers."

http://fastbrakes.com/shop/pro...d=458

Thats straight off of the product description. Let me modify my original post to include "Also, can I get an ******* who thinks hes witty to make a few smug collegeboy posts". I like how Breaker shuts down threads and deducts points when people actually deserve what they get, but he neglects to notice the assholery going on in this one. Do me a favor and take your stupid dead *** bunnies out of my thread and cease to answer any questions I ask.

I would buy the cheapo rotors, but I just dont want to have to constantly set aside time to replace the rotors and pads if it gets bad enough.

Ladies and gentlemen that is not true! If you have an Integra or Civic EX, you CAN get an 11.8" rotor on there without a relocator bracket. I have proof. I made this.

I machine the ITR calipers should anyone be interested, I offer the upgrade of the 11.1" redrilled rotors, machined ITR calipers/brackets for 240$ shipped, for comparison's sake. I mean fastbrakes is a good company, and they are trying to simplify things, but there are other options.

Also, they don't say which year acura RL, you can fit the older OR the newer ones, but they require different rotors.

The later RLs (not the new ones) take an 11.8" rotor but its MUCH heavier than the one i posted this picture of.

hey the links i gave you were for the WHOLE KIT, and to use any oversized rotor, whether it be from fastbrakes or any of the oem options that people have discovered through the years, you need to modify the caliper bracket or make some modification. all you asked for was more options, and i gave them to you. i didn't try to be no ******* to you, don't label comments that are made in jest as being an *******, you are the one in fact being the ***, you started the negaivity-<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by CompanyFlow &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">Every time a honda-techer doesnt search and read, 20+ ******** let him know.
