I've seen amps drilled onto the backseat so it faces the trunk yet on my car, its just straight metal behind my seat. My amp is just positioned right on the floorboard of my trunk yet the wires come from underneath so its clean. But I'd perfer to have it on the backseat to gain more space so I'm wondering how do i drill or do I buy a replacement kit so it replaces the metal behind my seat.

 

The metal behind the seat is real thin and then there's just the foam padding behind it. It's really easy to drill pilot holes into it for your amp screws, or just get a self-taping screw 1"~1.5" long.
