Putting an intercooler on a n/a motor will actually decrease air flow, therefore decreasing power. The only reason an intercooler works is because the turbo is FORCING air though it. Just get a quality cai, they are designed to give your engine a cooler and denser charge.

the turbo heats air, therefore making it hgotter than ambient temputure, if you place na intercooler on ambient tempture it will do nothing, but according to syndicate and youngkidafi, it does work becuase of windchill factor , now that doestn make any sense, and after being repeadly proved wrong these idiots sill wanted to do it

^what he said

the air coming in the engine for combustion is the temperature of your engine bay, like 110 degrees or something.

a CAI takes the outside air temp and uses it to cool the intake air.

with a turbo car the intake air is like 200 degrees so the outside air can really cool it down, you're not going to cool the 110 degree air any more.

the only way to do this is to take the air from somewhere else (cold air intake from wheel well)
