1996 Prelude jdm h22a + extras 6k obo* Southern California
Well to get right down to it I'm going off to college in a few months and would rather sell my car than take it with me. Why? First off I'll be living on campus and will have no way to work on my car... or even wash it. Secondly I'll have no where to safely park it. And lastly, because I outright will not be able to afford premium gas and insurance... in fact I'll be lucky if I can afford pabst
Being outright honest: This car does need some work, alot of little things and a chance encounter with a gaurd rail, with me not having the funds to fix them have added up and it kinda makes me sad to look at my car, its not that bad but it used to be in awesome cosmetic condition. However, it runs/drives great I replaced the engine over winter break, so its got a fresh motor
.
Chassis has 150k miles on it, the motor has been in the car for almost 3k miles
everything with an * by it was added over winter break when I did the swap
engine:
jdm H22A *
Secret weapon intake *
jdm exhaust manifold *
generic highflow cat
Apexi exhaust
jdm p13 ecu*
Koyo full aluminum radiator and cap *
Trans:
H23 trany
ACT lightweight flywheel *
Exceedy stage 1 (organic) clutch *
Suspension:
Tein type basic coilovers (on the manufacturers settings)
generic front tower bar
Other:
17" 5Zigen fn01rc wheels
Metal master breakpads *
jdm black housing headlights (stanley not ebay)
Vis oem style carbon fiber hood (wish I still had the stock one)
New belts*
Pioneer headunit
Kenwood speakers
and a royal pine tree air freshener
ok first the damage:
I banked my car off of a gaurdrail at about 35 mph when some wanna be initial d homo decided to use more than his side of the lane around a blind corner
I sprayed some flat black paint over the effected areas after it happened so that it wouldn't rust.

Next the aftermarket front bumper and grills got jacked so I got a generic replacement bumper, but havn't had $ for grills or paint

And here is the result of 3 years of california sun on a crappy VIS hood, the finish has totally deteriorated, VIS and thier warranty can go to hell imo
someone decided to hit me in a parking lot last summer on the rear bumper

new Engine, flywheel and clutch going in

These pics were taken just after I finished the swap, I'm pretty proud of how well it turned out

while the outside need some help the inside is still in great shape

The apexi tach is going to get ebay'd everything else in the pics remains (even the student parking pass woot!!1)
Its a ton of fun to drive, and clean on the inside, just needs paint and body work, which I can't afford. Best of all no de-ricing required... except maybe that damn hood.
