thats what i was thinking. but you almost cant beat the 129 dollar price tag...... but with light weight wheels, how much can the lighter rotational mass make a difference in braking and acceleration?

It makes a big difference. I've found that every 1lb per corner accounts for about 0.1s on a 60s autocross course. That's about the same as 40lbs. So, the additional 7lbs is about the same as adding 280lbs of unsprung weight... at least, based on my math. It will also make your ride quality suffer.

Look at various Rotas for cheap and fairly light wheels. They won't have anything as light as the Kosei's though.

now could i put on a 225 45 17 tire and not rub with almost a 2" drop... im thinking of eibach sportline. springs. thats what they say is recommended for a 17 x 7.5 wheel. and if it did rub would it be ok to put on a 215 45 17 tire?

they as in tire rack

Well, I'd choose neither.

17x7.5 +42
16.94lbs each - $120/wheel
