Alright, well I installed a PIAA dome light today in my del sol project and when the switch is in the middle the light doesnt go on when I open the door. If I move the switch halfway between either on or the middle or half way between off and the middle it stays on a little and flickers. What do you think the problem is, and what should I do to fix it?

sounds like corrosion in the switch. clean the light contacts too.

 

anyone else?

 

possibly a short in the wiring or the switch. Corrosion can do it too
