I have a 1993 Si 4ws with a blown engine. I want to put an H22A with LSD in it and i was wondering if anyone had an idea of any problems that might come up with the compatability of the LSD and 4ws systems and all of that

 

no problems. the 4ws works completely on its own and has nothing to do with the ECU. 4ws has a different rear suspension than the other trims. doing a motor swap does not affect the rear of the car.

 

alright cool i just wanted to check everything out before i ordered the engine and stuff.

any reccomendations on a place to get it with lsd?

has anyone ever bought a motor from ebay?

 

Anyone i have heard from that bought from ebay has been scammed with a bad engine or the code and serial are shaved off. only a select few get lucky on ebay and dont get screwed over

 

I just bought a H22A swap from hmotors a few days ago. It was $2060 with shipping and tax. I live in Jersey so shipping alone was $200. I chose them because I've heard good things about them plus their customer service is really good. I just wish they had a LSD trans in stock.

 

dont mess with ebay on this one...a year ago i bought one (drove 600 miles to pick it up) and it had a spun rod bearing........but i ended up getting my money back. hmotorsonline has had the best reputation for years

 

I got my motor, tranny, and ecu for $1200 shipped on eBay. Compression was 220 on all four cylinders. That's just my testimony of buying one from eBay. I've heard so many good things about H-motors though. There is no guarantee you will get a good product from eBay though, so it's more of a risk.
