Default When should I use seafoam?

I have a 97 sh and I've read about using seafoam, it sounds like it may fix some of my little problems. I have read that it could cause some problems but I don't know if it was used improperly or why it would cause these problems. I think I'm going to do it and I wanted to know if I should do it on a full tank of gas or a half tank or what? Also if I put it into my oil should I do it right after an oil change or what? I did search but all the threads that came up were about problems it may cause and all that junk.

If you're using it in the oil, use it right before an oil change. If you're putting it in the gas tank, put it in when the tank's almost empty and then fill the tank up.

Yes from what i have been told do it before you change your oil. And after its use change your oil and your plugs. I have used it in all 3: tank, crankcase and ran it through the vacumm lines and didnt have a single problem with the car. I had 126k on it and compression was over 200 in all 4 cylinders with very little variation. Maybe im just lucky but that was my personal experience.

Yeah i've used it in my fuel and oil systems, never had a problem with it. Use as directed though.

i might have an engine oil leak somewhere because my engine oil keeps running low....

im using mobil 5000 now to make sure that it doesnt leak more. would it be advisable to use seafoam on the engine oil? or would it make it leak worse IF there was a leak...

it might make it worse by removing carbon deposits. run a high mileage oil like castrol, does a good job on the seals.
