I know you guys tire of these threads, but let me preempt the flaming by saying that I own an EM2 AND a DC5-S. I have replaced several parts on the DC5-S and have stock parts laying around. that is why I asked about the stock rear sway a couple days ago and that is the reason for my next question.

I have the stock Type-S suspension complete, shocks/struts springs still assembled with reasonably low miles sitting in a box from when I replaced it with A-Spec suspension... now is there any chance this will work on my EM2 without looking like I added a lift kit? I know that the spring rates are setup for the RSX which weighs 300lbs more than the EM2 so is it ludicrous to think that it may be an upgrade? The amount of roll and flex in the suspension on my EM2 is teh sux0rs... and I'm looking for the cheapest (quality) way to fix that. So since I have OEM quality parts laying around, I thought I'd look into using them. If I'm SOL I'll budge for something in the $500-600 range for a good matched spring/strut combo.

If you guys have no clue, I'll just try it and see what happens. Its not hard to swap, took me a couple hours to do on the RSX by myself...

Thoughts?

 

as it has been beaten to death before. The length of the springs is not the same. I'll let you infer the rest if you dont wanna search for it.

 

your car is going to sit like 2" higher, lol. i sold my rsx-s suspension for like $150 shipped on clubrsx.com a couple of months ago

 

Thats what I thought, at least now I know. I didn't think the suspension was worth anything, haven't even tried to sell it.... how many miles were on the suspension you sold?
