Default GSR Rear Seat in EG - Modify to fit???

I have a 92 VX and bought the front and rear seats from a 94 GSR off a friend of mine. They look much better than stock and I got all 3 seats for $200 and they are mint. He had them covered up and stored for a few years and I finally talked him into selling them to me.
Is there a way to modify the bottom part of the back seat to fit? If not, I was thinking of having my factory bottom part reupholstered to match the GSR's but I have no idea if any place could find material to match it. I don't mind the small gap on the sides but the rear gap up to the back part of the seats looks really bad.

No, I need my back seats because my car is like a taxi. I would like to work with the seat and make it fit but if it's going to look bad no matter what, then I would like to have the stock bottom reupholstered to match. I was just wondering if anyone has modified their's and had good results.

either leave your stock rears in,
live with the gap,
or stuff a black towel in the gap.

It goes right in. . . . . I have it in my CX. If you are wanting it to fit like your Civic one then you'll need top take it to a shop and have them add moore cushin around the sides. . .

Did you add more cushion to your seat? Do you have any pics so it will give me an idea of how it looks?

I sprayed the bottom Civic seat with Dupli Color Vinyl and Upholstery Spray Paint.

Just rig something to secure the bottom all the way flush, and put some cheap carpeting that matches your interior (gray or black) underneath to hide the paint, that way the gap is still there, but you don't notice it because there's material to back it up.
