I eventually want to get an R6 sometime next year in the spring, but for now, I am looking to get a cheap (under $1500) bike to learn how to ride. I just dont wanna get a new, fast bike and mess it up ya know. Is there such thing as a decent (not really old and shitty) $1000-1500 bike, and if so, where to get one?

I live in northern VA so if any of you guys are around, It would be great if you can recommend some stores. Thanks.

But nah, 1500 wont even get you a Katana 600 Beat to hell.
Look for a Ninja 250r . Thats an entry level bike brand new they go for 2999. so maybe a used 1 you could get for 2gs or a lil less..
