I have a 98 Honda Prelude Automatic and my brother had it in front of his house for a couple of months and never turned it on....I tried and didn't turn on, bought: new battery, oil, and still wont crank...checked all fuses and starter nothing yet. Please help!!

 

im guessing the car ran fine before it was sitting..... make sure the battery connections are good.. so theres power inside the car but it just wont turn over ?? or no power in the car at all

 

The fuel could of have broken down, you might have to drain all the old fuel out and put in some new one.

 

Yea the car was running fine before, new battery, new oil, nothing!!...People say I sould change the gasoline in the car....you guys think that may be the problum?

yes spinning and no start.....i have no idea, i'm about to put new gas and oil but i know that wont make a differnce maybe the gas though.....

 

i dont see the gas going bad in just a couple months. my car sat 4 for years. it started up with jus a new bat. i didnt run all that well but it did run. it could have been the gas. but none the less i sat for 4 years. and still started.

 

i would check the main relay. check and see what its not getting. spark or fuel. also check wires rodents like 2 crall up in there and chew on ****.

 

why the main relay? Why would that go bad?

 

Yeah that's weird it won't start, my 89 civic was burried in, at times 6 feet of snow during this past winter and if fired up just fine, I changed oil before I fired it up. I had it sit for 4 months.
