how much space is there supposed to be between the oil pan on a b18c1 and the header pipe?

reason I ask, I was trying to install my NRG h-brace, and the holes wont line up right because of the header pipe is in the way. I have quite a bit of space between my header and oil pan.. definitely enough to put your hand between the header and the oil pan, so I'd say like 1-2 inches.

with my dc header the top is almost/if not touching my oil pan...but idk if thats suppose to be like that or not

 

so im guessing that the person that installed the header got a ls header?' It is a dc sports header.

There is definitely something wrong.. my whole exhaust is lower than it should be. The muffler tip doesnt touch the rear bumper.. it hangs down probably 3/4".

I bought the car with the header already installed, so I guess that's what the problem is.

I guess I'll wait to go turbo until I install the h-brace. sucks though.
