obd0-obd1 conversion
i have a b18c1 with a b16a1 head in my crx dx. i converted it using hasports efdx-vtec harness and a pr3 ecu, and i ran it for the last year. i want to convert it to obd1, i know i need a distributor, a distributor harness, ecu, and a ecu harness conversion. do i need anything else and will i need to undo anything that i did before (it was repinning 4 or 5 of wires on ecu)
i just thought that i would post the answer to my question so this might help ppl in the future.
i bought an obd0 to obd1 ecu adapter, td44 distrubutor, and the obd0 to obd1 distributor conversion. then i traced the wires from the vtec solinoid and the vtec pressure sensor to the ecu where i had added them to the stock obd0 harness plugs for the obd0 vtec conversion i did before. i cut them and connected them to the obd0 to obd1 conversion harness empty leads, using the instructions to figure out which wire went to which wire. i didnt hook up the knock sensor because the honda knock board is ****. i didnt hook up the o2 sensor because i am going to hook up my wideband to it for dataloging. i used crome to disable the things i didnt hook up and everything seems to be working ok, i dont have any check engine lights or anything. i havent driven the car yet so i dont know if vtec is working for sure but i will post if i have any problems.
