i searched but didnt find exactly what i was looking for. The question is...............................what head do you think would be best to put on my A6 block......a Z6 head or a Y8 head your opinion please... thanks - peanut

 

didn't search very hard did you? lol. Z6 head. non OBD to OBD1 is a much easier conversion than non OBD-OBD2.

 

not worried about how hard its is......... power.........and i have been searching the web for 4 hours now.

 

power is very similar, but the Y8 head will yield a little higher compression because of the smaller combustion chambers. however, i would still go with the Z6 head.

 

As I said before, you musn't have been searching very hard.


Z6 and Y8 are such similar engines.

You will never feel a difference between one over the other.

 

sorry someting else...... the Z6 head is shaved, or milled, dont know what ya'll call it...... so Z6???
