Does anyone have a pic of the stock radio in an 02? I'm trying t figure out if the radio in the one i just got is stock or not and its too dark to take a pic of mine right now

this isn't in my car but this is a MY2002.

 

ugh damn...i always thought honda put labels on the front of their radios but thats it....how do you set the damn clock? i tried holding the clock button down till it was flashing...but then when i tried to hit the 4 and 5 buttons for hours and minutes it just switches to the station..or if i hold it down it just saves the station on that button

and tell me what is up with buying cars with no owners manual.....why the hell would you ever take that out or need it outside your car...makes things so difficult <---could not find trunk/gas/radio/ignition/ or even how to start the damn car, AND how to put it in reverse (its different form the 6spd in te si) the only thing i knew how to do was open the top haha...i guess my priorities are mixed up...and this afternoon was the first day i got to put the top down..drove it home on the interstate

 

i think thats how you're supposed set it...its been so long i have alpine now. or maybe its holding the clock button and pressing 4 and 5 button simultaneously. do you know where the secret compartment is yet?

which one? i found a few places...dont know if they are secret or not

 

open glove compartment, there is a lift handle on the top of it that opens the lid of where the wind deflector sits on.

not yet....was going to do this morning then over slept so im late now...ill try it when i get in it

 

Are there speakers in the rear? I noticed the radio had a front/rear balance option, but when i put it to rear, no sound came out.

 

You only have speakers in the doors.

The rear speakers were optional (but also not very good)
There are other alternatives to getting rear speakers.

Good luck with the clock, i also have an Alpine, so i dont remamber

 

Oh i figured out the clock

if the rears were optional....we saw the "box for them in the back...is there any wiring back there, or would we have to wire it ourselves? for being a top of the line car...the sound system sucks

I agree. the Honda did not spend a lot of time on the sound system. They do not get very loud.

yup...the sound system with the mini sub in my si was awesome (granted it was a brand new car) however in the s2k, especially if the top or windows are down, you can barely hear it before it starts distorting.....(and i love my music loud too)

 

Does anybody know if the wiring is already there for the back speakers?
