Hey guys, so i have been doing some research into a new alarm and have stumbled upon the Compustar 2WSS-S. I read the sticky and did some reading about compustar in general and they seem to be a good reliable brand at a reasonable price. Anyone have any experiences with this specific model? It seems like there are about 129382830 different models but this one seems to fit my needs best....any users?

 

The reason i am asking is because i am comparing it to the 2W900FM-AS and as far as i can see the range is the only difference, but i dont know if maybe im missing something.

 

As far as I can tell the range is the only difference.

One uses spread spectrum the other doesn't.

If you want the Alarm you want the 2wss-as

I got the 900 FM just because it came with 2 remotes.

At $100 each I'll be damned if I buy another remote before I buy another alarm.
Dont ever rely on the paging feature of a car alarm. They rarely work in the urban environment.
