how to turn off check engine light?
I got the same problem ... I told was reset ECU and it will go away... nope ECU resets still have code 10 flashing with it replaced
But if you mean the maintence light theres a small buttion under the drivers side of the dash you need to hold in for a few seconds... search it more

did u check to see if your intake air temp sensor is bad or not? most common error is ppl swap the plug of iat and purge valve, coz they are the same kind of plug and they are close.

Exactly. That light comes on for a reason.
You can pull the radio fuse or disconnect the negative battery terminal to clear the CEL. But, if a problem exists, then the light will keep coming back.

I believe that is part of the ECU
I have read that in a few threads:
<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote »</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">...The stock MAP can read up to another .75bar of manifold pressure before maxing out.
A "Barometric Pressure Sensor" DTC is an issue with the barometric pressure sensor inside of the ECU, not the MAP sensor...
</TD></TR></TABLE>
You're probably going to have to swap ECU's out and see if that helps.
