You really didn't need to make a new thread about this.

If you want to see opinions, search the archives section for "h22 accord" "h23 accord" "f20b", etc, etc. This has been covered many many many times.

All of the motors were made to be driven daily. It's not like you're thinking about swapping in some radical *****-to-the-wall race engine or something.

Stock F23, with no engine mods whatsoever. I'm not interested in trying to make my Accord faster. I'm more interested in taking a car that is already decently fast and then making that car faster. Just a personal choice...

Unfortunately, the fast car ('04 Z06) is sold and I am now waiting to find my next project.

Why a Corvette Z06? How about the fact that it can run 12 second 1/4 miles, STOCK, just for starters. The real question you should be asking is, why not a Z06?

Respect? Please... Respect from who? From every teenage kid in a Honda with an intake and a fart-can-for-a-muffler exhaust that thinks highway racing is cool? I'm sorry, but I don't think so. And to be honest, I don't give a rat's *** about earning other people's respect, based upon my car and it's modifications. I grew up a long damn time ago.

For you, ignorance must be bliss. You see, you cannot fully appreciate all the aspects about a car unless you know and understand the "competition" as well. I like domestics AND imports. There are things that I like and dislike about both.

I drive what I like to drive, and not because it's the cool car to drive, or because it's soooo JDM, or because I saw it in the Fast and the Furious, or because all the cool, young kids drive one.

As for the next car... Who knows. It'll depend on how good of a deal I find and what kind of mood I'm in. Maybe I'll pick up an STi. Maybe an S2000 again. But I like torque, so maybe I'll pick up an LS1-powered f-body. Or, maybe I'll just trade in the Accord for a newer one and leave it at that.
