Default HELP! asap after egr port cleaning

I drive a 97 honda accord non vtec and after i did all the egr port cleaning and started the car and the car revs up and down from 2.5-3k rpm. I tried resetting the ecu by unhooking the battery and tried again and still reving up and down. I need help asap. Need a car to drive.

there's a diy on here for the other valve.. i forgot what its called but it sits behind the head..

did you pull off any extra vacum lines, when you were doing the EGR clean job?
IACV plugged back in?
Any leaks around the injectors?

everything is in place, no leak...when i start the car it idles high at like 2k rpm and then after a min when warmed up there is goes rpm going up and down. wtf

Irvine? LOL i live in Irvine.

Hmmmmm FITV is tighten all the way down. IACV is your last place to look at. Check the connection as Hondadude said. Did you put the EGR plate and it's gasket the same way?

Make sure all the connection is all the way plugged in. And nothing is blocking any intake passage. I did this EGR port cleaning and nothing happen.

so did i. it ran a lot smoother. i guess it could be easy to put the egr housing and gasket back on the wrong way if you arnt paying attention. my idle is fucked too and im getting ready to work on the FITV

thanks everyone, I FIXED MY CAR, the egr port plate wasn't even tight! it was hand loose, after i tightened it was all good, what a dumbass.
