my rear calipar siezed on me last summer and i managed to roll into a shop of the freeway. needless to say driving on the freeway with absolutely no brakes during rush hour was not something i ever want to experience again.
anyway, the shop did a shitty job imo. when i push on the brake now its much softer and does not grab nearly as well as before. there are brand new brake pads in all of the calipars. it also makes a terrible screech ocasionally.
i was told it was most likely the brake lines have an air bubble in them so i should drain them and refill them. also i realized they did not put abs brake fluid in the lines, they just put regular fluid. my abs light is not on and will not turn off. is this beause of the fluid? is the screech because of the calipars not having proper lube? and is the soft pedal because of the possible air bubble? should i buy some stainless steal braided break cables to help make the brakes work better. i have brembo cross drilled rotors all the way around as well.
since this has all happened im a little scared to drive fast because when i brake it takes longer to stop.

drain your abs fluid, refill with dot3 brake fluid, drive around and slam on your brakes in a closed area
drain your brake fluid cylinder, refill with dot 3 brake fluid, bleed the brake system.
