Default 16x7 40 offset? 5th gen



this is on a 5th gen thats 'slammed'

will a 16x7 wheel with a 40 offset and 205/50's all around rub?

for 7" wheels, recommended offset is about +45mm. at +40 you may or may not rub. there is no way to tell for sure, you just have to try it and see. some ppl get away with +35 on 8" wide rims, but that doesn't necessarily mean that you can do it too.

my experience is that with a +45 offset the wheel is just flush with the fenders. This was a 16x6.5 rim with a +45 offset (Type S rims) Preludes have a +55 offset
