Default Yokohama S Drive tires

Anyone know anything about these?

http://www.yokohama.co.nz/s_drive.html

Been trying to find a replacement for the ES100's on my ITR and the tire shops are telling me that these new S Drive tires will be replacing the ES100s. Anyone have any experience with them?

I'm looking primairly for a high performance street tire with the ocassional track use.

Previously mentioned in this topic. I haven't heard anything about when they might be introduced. Not that I necessarily would, either.

If and when you need to buy tires, you'll need to get what's available at that time, regardless of what might be coming to the market in the future.

Based on this statement, I would probably recommend something higher in performance than the ES100 (or Kumho SPT) for your stated needs - preferably a tire specializing in dry traction (like the Falken Azenis RT-615, BFG KD, etc) or, if you also need wet traction and/or longer treadlife along with the grip for track use, a top-of-the-line summer tire (like the Goodyear F1 GS-D3). It's hard to say how the S Drive will compare, but if it's supposed to replace the ES100, I suspect that it might not offer as much performance as these other tires.
