Default Intake and Exhaust and suspension

Can anyone recommend a good sri and exhaust. I've been looking at AEM, Injen, and Fijita. Any feedback on these would be greatly appreciated. And i haven't looked at any exhausts yet so suggestions are good.

K & N or AEM for intake. i've had both and was happy with both.
Apexi N1 or imitation if you want loud loud exhaust. DC sports exhaust is also good, i had that on my car before i got the N1 system. a lot of people like skunk2 but i haven't used it.

Its a 96 teggy. and for the exhaust i dont need something loud preferably a low monotone rumble or something to that effect.

Intake and exhaust really don't do anything anyway. Just get an ebay or a used sri and get a comptech or K&N filter to stick on the end of it. Then you can spend the rest of your money on a buddy club prospec exhaust.
Or you can modify suspension first and get an ITR rear sway bar, which is way more fun than an SRI any day.

intake and exhaust are both very important. especially intake which CAN give you as much as 9 HP. exhaust is important for further air flow. suspension **** is good too but it depends what he wants to do to the car. if he just wants it to look a little sportier and have a nice sounds when it hits the powerband, then intake and exhaust are a good place to start

If you want an exhaust that sounds more or less stock until it hits some power, apexi world sport exhaust. I LOVE mine. Not high pitched at all.

But in something we call the real world.. They don't. Not on stock NA cars.. Built NA's and FI cars, yes they will give a good bump.

To the OP: Don't buy an intake and expect to tell any difference other than sound. Yes, they help, but without the package (IM/H/E/tuning) your not gonna realize the potential.

And, just so you know.. I have a modified AEM CAI w/a K&N filter.

ok well i just switched my stock intake back into my car for a CEL problem and it sucked. no power. no pick up. it didnt the extra push it used to to get me to the powerband. i put my AEM SRI back in, and i had it back. it IS noticable to me and my friends who have it also.

Your ears are decieving you. You would have to have a good 10 WHP + to notice anything in the " Butt dyno"

You ARE NOT going to feel 3-5 hp. Sorry buddy. The sound the intake makes tricks you. <TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by Acura_Integra_Type_R &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">do this son...skunk2 exhaust, dc sports intake, k&n filter, i garuntee lol you will feel power increase...and dc sports headers dont hurt either...</TD></TR></TABLE>

Throw an intake manifold and tuning and your knocking on 170 hp to the wheels.

Wait a min.. Is this an LS were talking about here or a GSR?

&lt;shakes head&gt; If you say so man.

I'm just going by my experience with a higher horsepower engine that had a couple more mods than you.. I felt NOTHING when I went to the AEM CAI.

Nothing.

Does'nt mean that it didn't do anything, but I could'nt feel it. I could HEAR IT, which I could decieve me into thinking I'm FEELING IT, but I didn't. And I've been around cars/racing for all my life (I'm 25).

If you think you notice a difference and that makes you happy.. Well then I'm happy for you too.

I bet money that if you turned your stereo up loud so you couldn't hear the intake you wouldn't be able to tell the difference.

He probably took out his stereo, don't you know that adds like 4HP. Maybe try riding with earplugs. I guarantee you can't tell the difference between stock and SRI. SRI sucks up hot air . Your stock airbox with a K&N filter is better.

what about a j's racing intake or some replica like password or memoryfab? its been proven they gain alot of low to mid range torque.
