Default Where to get your car painted professionally?

Could you please tell me about any good shops/commercial places to get your car painted for at or under $600 (one flat color: milano red or perhaps a semi-gloss black). If you've had your car painted there, say how you'd rate the job that was done.

for as little as youre paying, theyre just looking to get your car done quick and out of their shop..most places that charge cheap money is because the work itself if cheap..they always do a terrible job with masking and body work..and you can also expect that they will miss some spots when theyre painting..

if you get your car painted at earl schieb your wheels and exhaust will be colormatched free of charge

if you prep your car yourself or have some friends with experience, that will cut down on cost but for $600, you get what you pay for.

Go to your nearest auto paint supply store /distributor and ask around for what your looking for. See if they can recommend a pro /someone /shop to do it on the side if you prep it.

I'm bringing my car to Maaco on Sunday but I'm prepping the entire car myself, just to make sure I get the job I'm looking for. I'm not expecting an amazing paintjob but hopefully with my prepwork, it will come out relatively good. I'll post pics up for you after I get it back sometime in the next 2 weeks. Btw the "medium" Maaco paint job is $599 which is right in your price range and thats what I'm getting +$700 of rust fixing, ding fixing, hole shaving, and labor...
