Lowering springs or coilovers
Which is better. I have a kit on my car so makes it kinda low but i got some 17's and it just need to be tuckin a lil.Which do you prefer. i only want it to be like 1.2 in front and 1.7 in back so lowering springs or adjustable coilovers. i heard bad things from some people?
Lowering springs about an inch is fine with stock shocks.
Unless you you want your car to handle better, do some autocross or some performance driving events. Then you'll need a coilovers or some good shock/ spring combo like Koni with Eibach. It all depends what u want from your car.

I'm debating over the same thing. This is my daily driver and I have an expensive *** lip on my car. I don't really race, I just like to drive my car. My stock struts I believe are shot because everytime I go over bumps, theres an odd knocking sound in the rear. The ride is also not very comfortable. So basically I'm almost decided on going w/ Tein springs its a 1.1/1.2 in drop. and some adjustable struts.
at the very least get one of the "adjustable coilover kits" from ebay for like 50 bucks i have had mine on now for over a year on stock struts and everything is still good on my setup no cracks or shot struts and i can adjust heights.

If you want to get adjustable coilover kits, get a something that is trustworthy and made from a manufacturer that is known for it. I don't know what kind of setup you got for $50 bucks on ebay, but I wouldn't risk my safety and the integrity of the vehicle's performance for $50. Just my 2 cents.

Like what someone said earleir to your post, it depends on what your ultimate goal is. If you just want something for show and minor suspension tuning then lowering springs would be suitable. On the other hand if you're willing to spend more and participate in track events and such then adjustable coilover setups would be a nice option.
