Default 94-97 accord coilover

i wanted to buy a set of Tokico RAK Illumina R coilovers for my 97 accord. everywhere i go it says they wont fit on vtec models. i was under the assumption that all 94-97 accords are vtec. does anybody know if they will fit regaurdless of the descriptions saying "non-vtec" also i was going to buy a set from ebay, and the sellers auction says 90-97 and so does pretty much everyone elses coil overs kits ie; tein, megan, etc. heres a link to the auction

only difference suspension wise between vtec and non-vtec models is a rear sway bar. i've done quite a bit of suspension work on 4th and 5th gen accords, but they were all non-vtec, but i dont see why it wont fit.

It doesn't matter what trim your car is, any coilovers designed for 94-97 accords will fit.

The EX trim is the only 5th gen to have VTEC.

I would do a little research on suspension before you buy...that.

i agree too, for a hundred bucks more i got my koni/gc setup which is great and it included lifetime warranty(on the struts).. plus eibach springs at which you can actually request a custom spring rate.

thats pretty useless to most everyone, who has no idea how to decide what rates to go with.

so you're saying that a sleeve type coilover is better than a full? i havent done much research yet but is there any problems with the tokicos other than nobody having them?

Koni/Ground Control is the only "sleeve over" type system that is worth a crap IMO.

My friends have had Tokicos of different price ranges, and they were all very disappointed.

For the money you were gonna spend on that, go for Tein Basics, Koni Yellows/Ground Controls, Omni Power Streets. etc.

Stay away from ebay.
