pulling trans
im going to replace my clutch cus my stock one is f***d. does anyone have a step by step way of doing this cus the chiltons manual tells me to pull a **** load of stuff. do i have to pull off the hubs and cv's commpletely or can i just dissconnect them from the trans. its a 89 crx dx with the 1.5
^ haha. Just disconnect your lower control arm from the hub, and slide the axles out of the hub, then use your long flat head screw driver between the axle and diff casing and pry out the axles.
i undo the cv nut then undo the lower ball joint which you do not hammer on the top of the threads of the ball joint you will sandwich it and then the threads are non usable once its separated pop the axle out with a flat head.
even if you tryed to get it out with the axles still in it would bind and then you would be stuck.
