Question is I like to get them magaflow<-sp? cat for the rex, but want to know are all civics cat the same? As in can I swap cats with from newer civic etc.? In the case I want to swap cats. Seriously, a cat is a cat! Like a filter is a filter...it only varies in size per application. So if you get a cat from a newer car or a different car, the only issue that you may have to deal with is length/diameter..

the hf has a pretty unique cat. it bolts right below the exhaust manifold and is a funny shape. dx and si are under the car, halfway back toward the muffler. i saw some on ebay the other day for less than 200.

Well I'm in mid-west WI so yeah. ANd gotta get it pass before May 11? Otherwise plates will b suspended<-sp? I wanted to order an after market cat (magnaflow) and some aftermarket (vibrant?)cat back exhaust as well. Though only thing taht kinda suck or does sucks is it's still the stock hf engine. Was thinking trying to find a local 92-00 soch vtec and swap it in but really no luck. So just trying to get it pass first then swap later. But as far as taking it to some muffler place I did and got and est. of $400-$600 dollars!fuch no! I rather get aftermarket for that price!
