Default I'm a moron(valve cover gasket question)

I just adjusted my valves on my d15b. How the hell do I get the rubber grommets off the valve cover bolts. I want to replace them because they came with the gasket kit.

This should help. The bolt head is blocking it on one side and it's flared out at the bottom?

hahaha, that made me laugh.

The flares are there to keep us goofy americans from overtightening those bolts and ruining everything haha.

Back together. What a waste of time. I've had that motor in there for 2 1/2 years and there wasn't a singe valve out of spec.

Start placing bets on how long it takes for the **** to start leaking oil. I didn't realize you needed a seal puller and driver to get those spark plug seals out/in. So I pried em out with a screwdriver and pounded em in with a hammer and socket. Someone insert that ******* hammer icon now.
