i noticed something on my dash was rattling the other day and it turns out that the plastic shield thing around the steering columns (like where you stick your key in) was missing the screws./bolts.. anyways i checked the repair manual but i couldnt find the size, so if anyone knows the dimensions it would be really helpful so i can replace them! i think theres 3 of them, 2 almost right below the steering wheel and one a bit further under the dash.

 

Same size as any of the other screws holding you interior panels in. Take one from your center consle or something to compare.

 

Any self taping screw should do

 

ok, so i tried the other dash/center console screws and they don't fit, anyone might be able to take one of theres out and measure it please?

the piece that the screw actually goes in through and holds up the column cover is plastic. any self tapping screw will work. go to your local hardware store and pick up the screw that you need.
