NEED HELP ASAP with my b20 swap into a ef (not cranking at all)
my ef isnt crankin. the battery works because i charged it and the lights turn on Here is what i got- a b20 motor with a tranny, starter and the interior wire harness off of a 93 gsr but i am using a civic 95 engine wire harness dont know which one it is but i was told it should work.besides that everything seems to be hooked up correctly.Does anyone know or have an idea what can be the problem.
what do you mean interior wire harness? and why are you using a 95 engine harness on a ef obd-0... all you had to do is keep stock wire main wire harness from all the interior and stuff....the harness for the engine that you would be using is the one from the ef engine harness as well dont matter if its mpfi- or dpfi why did you change harness?
i had a 93 gsr motor in the civic but it blew so i got a b20b and i heard that the wire harness i had would work so what should i do. and the interior harness is that comes out of the firewall.
so you already had a 93 1.7 gsr in it is that what your saying.. it blew up and now you are swaping a a b20b.. oh ok.. but are you going to run it as obd-1 or obd-0... p28 ecu or the pw0 or pr3? what obd was it being run as when you had your 93 gsr?
ok new problem it cranks but not start. i put the 1.7 gsr wire harness and put on the ls starter now it cranks but it does not start . i checked the battery sparkplugs and distributer everythings seems to be good except its not starting up totally.
did you check if there was fuel going to your fuel pressure regulator.. check it to make sure there is fuel going to the fuel pressure regulator that might be your problem.. can you here the fuel pump prime or not...
