Is this easy job? does it require special tool or force to put in new ones?

i've been trying to figure out this thumping noise ever since I got my 99 accord.
I had the mechanic replaced rack and pinion, shocks, upper control arms, they said the outer tie rods were good. ... Butt the same thumping noise over bumps is still there. (or while i'm driving and i swirve left and right really hard back and forth, I can hear it)

The sway bar links are attached, but I notice one side is a bit off....

Right side (looks kinda off?)
