I have some 16'' rota's and they have a gash taken out of the upper part of the lip of the outside of the rim, not all the way through just a chunk that cosmetically does not look good. Anyone know how to repair this sorta thing or have a link to a good website on rim repair?

or just buy a new rota. it will prolly cost the same or maybe a lil more/less then repair.

I called Romero's I just get an answering machine, I left a message. Im gonna try some aluminum filler and sand it down. Im gonna repaint the rims anyways and im sure its not heavy enough to throw them out of balance its not that big of a gash. Ill post some pics tomorrow.

 

I got some aluminum repair stuff that is lightweight and hard as a rock. aftr I sand and paint I think it will be fine. Its not that big of a gash. I was just wondering if anyone knew of a do-it-yourself site..... I dont think my rims are bent at all and hopefully when I get the tires balanced on them everything will balance ok
