Auto to Manual Swap Speed Sensor Problem
Hey Guys,
I just recently had my 99 LS Integra converted from auto to manual. Everything went well except for a few minor wiring problems.
The speed sensor is not giving any type of reading on the speedometer. I installed a 98 gsr tranny but the speed sensor is not working at all. I am basically reusing the auto speed sensor but I'm not sure if I just need to buy a Manual Speed sensor to correct this problem.
I searched throughout the forums but I can't find an answer to this question.

i think wen my 95 rs was converted they used the manual sensor. mine works fine now but wen one of the wires came loose the check engine light came on? idk if the obd has anything to do wit it tho
Could someone give me a definate answer? I need to know if I need to buy a new sensor and if so, does it matter if it is from an ls or gs-r?
I'm currently using the gs-r tranny in my ls motor.

I just need to know if i need to get a manual speed sensor or not. I have the auto speed sensor but no luck with it so far.
Thanks.
