Ya'll--
I'm doing a mighty big project for someone with no experience. I had a 88 DX hatch, engine blew up, had a JDM d15B dropped in it, and wrecked it. I found an 89 shell, and now I want to to do the motor swap myself. I want to wire the engine for VTEC and MPFI (my previous car was only wired for SOHC and dual point injection), swap out the DX tranny for an SI 5-speed, and put an integra rear-disc set up on it. Rear end shouldn't be a problem, but I'm not so up on things with the engine bay. Any tips on swapping would be appreciated--things to look out for with wiring, what not. ALSO--do I need to swap out my DX axles for SI axles, or will everything just bolt right up to the SI tranny no problem? Thanks guys . . .

Search around here for the VTEC wiring and MPFI changeover, there's a few good writeups with pictures floating around.
Your DX axles will work just fine with an SI transmission.
