I have a problem with the swap, I need to know which engine harness I need so I can jump it to obd1. I have the 98 ex engine harness, but the 2000 models have this extra plug under the passenger side dash from the fuse box. So its not possible for me to use the 98 harness. The jumper I have use to be running in a 96 civic. I checked out the 2000 ex harness and it had 3 plugs on it plus the plug from the fuse box, to make a total of 4. Any help would be appreciated. i think I need the 2000 ex harness, and a different jumper as well to run the obd1 ecu. Am I wrong?

 

you use the engine harness from your car (2000 lx) You need an obd2b - obd1 harness
