Default Oem Honda or wiseco?

Hi guys,

I am going to rebuild my b18c gsr engine. I will use ITR cams, valve springs, retainers and valves. What pistons do you think I should get? JDM ITR pistons (CR 11,34:1) or Wiseco pistons? Wiseco pistons have a CR around 12:1. Is that usefull with ITR cams?

Thanks for your advise

Michiel

P30's will give you about 11.5:1 and are 269.00 from HMO with new OEM rings and wrist pins.

Wiseco will require a different rod as they are forged and have a floating wrist pin.

To stay OEM I would go P30 P73 JDM P73 USDM and PR3 in compression ratio from left to right.

GSR block with P30 and PR3 Head will be around 11.5:1 add some flat faced valves and it will get you around 11.8 - 12.0:1 ratio roughly.
