The pilot bearing is in your flywheel and it never hurts to change it when the package is out.

Agreed. ALWAYS change everything out while in there. Would be good to change out the rear main seal while in there too. Change your axle seals and shift shaft seal is a great idea. I figure so much easier to do all at once. ONLY use Honda MTF and not this 10w/30 BULL **** like some people use also. Just some helpful tips I hope

I like GM/Pennzoil Syncrhomesh. Also as I recall Royal purple makes a pretty amazing MTF. It is called Synchromax. I haven't tried it yet, but I hear it is pretty amazing.

Any of these should work, but in my car....all I use is Syncromesh.

That's funny...recommending a product that you haven't used yet Nothing wrong with it, i guess...Just made me laugh that's all..

It is a little funny, I personally haven't used it, but a few of my good friends swear by it, and that is enough for me.

Like I said, I use only synchromesh in my car. Never had a problem.

The only 2 things you need. 1 GM Synchromesh, rest genuine Honda MTF

D series transmissions use 1.8Q of fluid, B series use 2.0Q of fluid. There is a fill hole on the trans. Above the drain hole on trans. You will need a fairly long flexible funnel, or they sell transmission fluid pumps at your local auto parts store.
