I used to have a nice tubular Neuspeed front upper strut bar on my Integra RS, but Neuspeed says this one is for all Integras except the ITR.

Anyone know exactly why? I don't have the RS anymore, nor the USB, so I can't try it out.

I just installed some Ground Control extended upper mounts, and my ITR upper strut bar won't fit without some modifications of the grinding kind.

Which is one more than you are allowed.

 

probably because the ITR has one already, they probably mean it wont fit with the original. if you take off the oem it will fit.

 

That was my hope. My nephew has my old RS and will deliver the bar the next time he comes to town.

But Neuspeed also sells other ones for the ITR that look more like the ITR bar, so I was wondering if some of the mounting geometry is slightly different. Or when I slam down the hood, I'll get a nice impression of the upper strut bar in my hood.

Take off the oem bar and the Neuspeed will work fine. I question if the Neuspeed bar will really add anything extra, but who knows.

 

I'm not looking for extra support, but my oem bar won't fit on top of my GC extended mounts - so I just need another bar, unless I want to modify my oem bar, which I'd rather not do.
