Loud scraping/whining noise from under Hood
The noise that I'm hearing is from the radiotor motor fan. Now my question is how hard it is to replace this motor?
Lately I'm experiencing hearing this loud scraping/whining/grinding noise. At first I thought it was my A/C belt because everytime I turned on my A/C the noise will start (car is not moving) and when I turned off the A/C the noise will disappear. There was a time that I left the A/C on and the noise disappear. But last week, the weather was nice don't need the A/C, and the scraping/whining/grinding noise appear again but dit not last for a long time, it's just few second and disappear. Also I noticed that when I hit a bump the noise come back and will stop right away. I think the noise is coming from the passenger side of the car, it's pretty loud around the distributor area. The car runs pretty good. What do you think is that.? What is the symptom of a distributor going bad? The car is 1995 GSR. I need your help please.

If it's from the passenger side I don't know. If you had said driver said I would have suggested the A/C belt tensioner pulley. My brother had a problem with the one on his del Sol, the pulley had somehow worn down and was scraping the metal bracket and making a noise like that. It was pretty bad there for awhile.
What the heck would be on the passenger side of the car that would make the sounds you describe?
Weird.
And, on a side note.. PatrickGSR94, I was married on Aug 6.. My parents were married Aug 12

Not sure because you say it's on the right side of the car but until I read that I would of said your a/c compressor clutch is not disengaging properly. are you sure its coming from the right side?

What year and car the fans came from? Do I need to change the fan or just the motor? Do I need to take the whole radiator to change the radiator fan motor?

The fans, motor, and shroud all vary by different years. I bought a pass. side radiator fan from someone on TI.net I think, and the fan I got had 5 blades vs. mine with 4 blades. The bottom tabs on the shroud that fit into the radiator were also different, as were the top bolt holes. Luckily I have an aftermarket replacement radiator that works with all years so I was able to use the fan. If I had my original OEM radiator, the fan would not have fit. My car is a '94 and I think the one I got came off of a newer Integra.
Also I tried just swapping the motor and blades over to my old shroud, but the way it attached was different, as well.
*edit* what sort of sound is it you're hearing? I replaced my pass. side fan awhile back because the bearings were shot in my old one and it made an awful groaning noise.

Few months ago I had my radiator replaced. I'm assuming they (local mechanic) used an aftermarket radiator (SAK). The noise I'm hearing is like what you described groaning noise, on and off, but more often when I tuned on my A/C. I'm thinking getting a new radiator fan motor (its four blace fan) from hondapartsunlimited. You think I will get some problem because I have an aftermarket radiator? Thanks

My radiator has slots and holes that would work with all years of fan shrouds.
I also noticed for some reason that the radiator fan will kick on when I'm on the brakes to slow down to a stop. Then when I let go of the brakes or start going again, the fan will cut off. That's when I used to hear it most of the time, especially on the way to work in the morning. I usually don't use my A/C in the morning, but it was surely embarrassing as hell when I had to stop at a corner in front of a bunch of school kids waiting on the bus

Tell me about embarassing, people look at me and stare at me when its doing the noise. Mine is when I slow down and hit a small pot hole or something on the road. How hard to replace the radiator fan motor? Do I need to take the whole radiator out to replace this motor?

Unfortunately yes, at least partly. I had to disconnect my upper radiator hose to get the fan out, which let out some coolant, so I had to top off the coolant and make sure it was all bled with no air bubbles when I was done. You shouldn't have to unbolt the radiator itself.
