Default Spark plugs hard to remove 1995 1.5L civic

I have a 1995 civic and need to replace the spark plugs. I removed one of the plugs and discovered that it appeared worn with a gap of approximately .065 inch. I would like to replace the plugs with new ones. The car is runnig fine now. When I removed the one plug it came out hard andf felt like the threads might be stripping, however after I got it out the threads were ok. I am hesitant to remove the other 3 because I feel I might not be so lucky with them. Is this common for the plugs to hard to remove like this and can I remove them without damaging the threads? I re-gapped and put anti-seize on the one plug I removed and then reinstalled it until I can figure on what to do.

Thanks for the help. I changed them today without damaging the threads. They came out hard but the threads were ok.
