Default 1/4 mile thing

so i ran my car at a track with a busted tranny, the LSD wasnt shimmed correctly or sumthin. so that thing clunked hella bad when i launched and and turn corners. anyways i ran a 14.2 so heres my question. if i just slap a non lsd b16 on will my time be slower? because the lsd still worked in the busted trany so i didnt burn out at all maybe a tiny bit shifting to 2nd. hope that makes sence. and the reason im asking this is because high school drags are on may 4th and my lsd wont be here till the 20th of april so i dont have enough time to get everything in. my mechanic will be outa town.

You can still run consistent times assuming you know how to launch. Driver is the key at the tree...lol.

We can pretty much not tell you anything more unless your setup and/or pics are posted.

Or go to the drag racing forum for some help.

As long as the GEARING inside the tranny is the same (get the same code B series tranny) your times shouldn't change by much. LSD does help alot when launching tho.
