'02 bumper on an '00 Accord
I've hears some people mention that they also needed to change the hood and fenders because of gap issues. I think this applies to the sedan only, though. Correct me if i'm wrong, though, because i'm not certain on this.

That applies when you switch between sedan and coupe bumpers, or vice versa. For example, if you put a coupe bumper on a sedan, you need the coupe's hood as well.
If both cars are coupes, or if both cars are sedans, then the '02 bumper will fit no problem.
