Should fit, get on Hasport's *** for the 5thgen mount kit (should work) or custom fab them yourself along with everything else needed.

Why get a 5th gen mount kit? He has a 6th gen.Accord. And hasport doesnt offer a k series mount kit for the 6th gen. I am also currently tryin to swap in a k24a2 into my 2000 Accord.

B/c the 5th and 6thgen accords share similar engine mounting points, thats why. I didn't say a Hasport mount kit for the 6thgen, I said for the 5thgen IF he could get it from them (Hasport).

yea, a k-series engine.

accord k-series swaps is a ground not many has treded on. HASport is the only one i've seen to succesfully drop in a k24 into a 5th gen. im not saying its not impossible, its more then possible, but whether or not you can do it is the question.

your best bet is to contact someone at HASport and see if the 5th gen kit will work for youo, or if they will modify the 5th gen kit, or custom make you a kit.

and if you have more problems then just finding a engine mount kit, and arent sure what you need and how to put it in and make it work i suggest you contact a reputable shop and fork up alot of $$$$

Good luck.

Redneck Dave's coupe with the cl-s motor will still be way cooler though.

I wouldn't exactly call it "successful", since they never finished it, nor was the motor ever started.

From my understanding, they sold it unfinished, and the new owner finished it. Maybe I heard wrong then.
